Hi, I’m  Gauri, the founder of Island Party Catering and I absolutely love a good party. But not just any party. The kind that feels full of life, where the food is stunning, the table is beautifully styled, and everything comes together to create that wow moment as soon as guests walk in.

This all started when I kept helping friends and family organise events. I noticed that despite the occasion there was always one thing that would be lacking — the food and presentation. The menus were forgettable, the displays were uninspired, and it all felt like a missed opportunity. I remember thinking, surely we can do better than beige buffets and soggy sandwiches?

Being a British Indian, I’ve always been surrounded by vibrant flavours, beautiful dishes, and celebrations that feel like a feast for all the senses. So I started bringing that same energy to the events I helped with. More flavour. More colour. More care. I didn’t stop at the food either — I brought in floral touches, layered the table decor, and styled each setup so it felt unique, warm and memorable.

And people noticed. The food became the centre of the party. Guests snapped photos, swapped compliments, and talked about it for days. Suddenly, the vibe changed — it felt joyful, intentional, and full of love. That’s when I knew this was more than a hobby. It was something I genuinely cared about.

Island Party Catering is my way of turning that passion into something you can share with your guests. I pour my heart into every detail, from the menu and table styling to floral arrangements and colour palettes. Whether you’re planning a baby shower, birthday or something totally bespoke, I’m here to make sure it’s as beautiful and stress-free as possible.
